berg and mountain

I'm not sure about this one. Does the band of cloud wreck it or make it? Sometimes I think the former, sometimes the latter.

To me it feels as if it wants a bit more contrast, the snow a bit brighter and the shadows darker to add a bit of drama. The cloud works OK for me.

I can't disagree. Something like this, you mean?

Yes! That does it for me. Much better.
I guess you must have had a good time in the Deep South. I'm looking forward to more.

What a great and strange sight! Two images in one. I feel like it sort of resembles an image with a reflection in the lake in which case balance the bottom and the top? Fascinating photograph!

Very enigmatic. It takes a few seconds to imagine the landscape without the cloud.

Wow, that's a cool scene and a nice shot. I agree the increased contrast version is more appealing.

On the image, I shot I lightened the iceberg to give it a bit of separation. Use the HSL sliders in LR to play with the fine tuning a bit.

Nice image.  Hard to believe it was just a little more than a week ago when we were there.

Thanks. It seems a world away, and I suppose it was.

LR, Kevin? After you were doing so well converting me to C1?

So, Jeremy, did you tutor Kevin on LR while you were there?   ;)

The second interpretation is very good, but I think the image still has more goodness to be squeezed out of it, especially the blue berg.
