Rockies
« on: January 19, 2018, 08:30:18 pm »

I only worked a half day today so I drove up into the mountains and grabbed this.  I was on the the Peak to Peak highway just south of Estes Park (Colorado).  Not too cold today, but we're supposed to get some snow on Sunday.
Another photographer saw it and pulled over also.  He was visiting from Texas.
Pretty windy but I was able to stabilize the tripod.  Canon 5D3 and 400mm.
Have a nice weekend!

For me the spindrift on the ridges and the clouds make the shot.
Well seen!

Thanks Paulo, glad you liked it.

Thanks!  The blowing snow at the top of the mountains was a sight to see.
