Access denied

Hello everyone!
I am new to this website and am seeking some advice.
Adobe Illustrator software does not work with my .AI format file. I have one document in which i have inserted various changes. Now i am getting the error message: Access denied

Is there another way to open Illustrator file?

If you just want to open the file and print it, Photoshop will open it up and give you a variety of options. Free Photoshop trial.

and should you choose to stay away from the Adobe universe, my favourite graphics app will do the job - Graphic Converter
