Autumn scene from the Dolomites
« on: January 03, 2018, 12:38:53 pm »

From the last workshop of the year in the Dolomites and shot near Passo Giau.

It was shot using the Canon 5DSR and the Canon 24-70 f/2.8L II lens at 24mm.

Beautiful landscape. I'd also have to scramble along those cliffs! Happy New Year!

Fantastic, as usual ;-) Autumn is a great season for the Dolomites (or the Alps) with plenty of yellow/gold colors.

Hans, you are killing me. Of course the vista is breathtaking, but I especially like how you managed to bring out the nuanced sky details. I have to save my loonies (pennies are no more) and head up there one day.

Beautiful!  I miss the Dolimiti. I probably mentioned that I was stationed at Aviano AB.

Thanks Bill and glad you liked it. If you plan go to the Dolomites you would benefit greatly of going with a workshop and there are now a number of offers from different photographers.

Beautiful landscape. I'd also have to scramble along those cliffs! Happy New Year!

Thanks and Happy New Year too 😊

Thanks Francois and I agree, autumn is a great time in the Dolomites. I like the spring in June as much as autumn although it is quite different.

Thanks John and as I mentioned to Bill I recommend to choose a workshop. There are so many places you won't find just going there.

Nice scene, nice shot!

Thanks Matt and glad you liked it.

Thanks very much, so I guess you have been there many times.

Wonderful vista.

Thanks Paulo.
