Cuba - Latin Flirtation
« on: December 23, 2017, 08:59:33 pm »

A real-life example of Latin flirtation. After lunch, a waiter got up on a chair to "propose" to my daughter, shower her with compliments, and sing her a song. No harm, no foul. Everybody was heartily laughing, had fun, and left the place a bit happier.

UPDATE: fast forward ten years, the guy is a successful entrepreneur, runs for a seat in the Cuban parliament. Fast forward another five years, these photos resurface, with the accompanying video, and he is forced to resign from his company and the parliament.

The  Cuba saga continues.
Fascinating.
You should consider a book.

Ah, the responsibilities parents carry! To think you fathered the child who might bring down a parliament, nay, a country! So what became of the blonde?

Wish them both a merry Christmas and Happy New Year on my behalf! And of course, to you, too.

Thanks again, Eric. As I mentioned in another thread, a book might be a bit too ambitious for just two days in Havana, but I posted a photo story from the trip using Adobe Spark: https://spark.adobe.com/page/6cpozKHejqUJ9/
