Mac book pro 15 or 13

Just wondering how big a perfomance diffence I will have between a 2016 late 15 inch and a 2107 13 inch mac say going through 500 lightrrom files to process then export from a sony a 9 I am looking at the 2016 macbook pro with a 4 gb graphincs card 1 tb drive 16 gb ram bh is selling for 2500 Or a similarry speced 13 inch from apple for 2100 in there refurb section

Which processor in each one?  In general, Apple offers faster processors in the 15" models than the 13" models so getting the exact specs is necessary in order to answer the question.

The 15" is a quad core, which will be at least 50% faster - Lightroom export is relatively well threaded to take advantage of the extra cores, as far as I know. Lightroom also benefits from the GPU for some operations.

With those processor specs, assuming they are from similar processor generations,  the 15" will smoke the 13" in anything that uses more than one thread as well as anytime youa re running more than one program.  Unfortunately i7 alone doesn't tell you taht much - youw ould actually need the model numbers of the processor.  For example a 7th generation dual core i7 would beat say a 2nd generation quad core i7 of similar processor speed.  But in general, assuming the two computers are within a model year or two, the quad core one will be faster.
