Well the topic says it all: how the heck can get rid of favorites I don't need anymore in Adobe Bridge?

Thanks

Simply right click the file or folder in the Favorites tab, and select Remove from Favorites. Just make sure you're in the Favorites tab, and not Folders tab in the top left panel of Bridge. It won't actually delete the folder, just removes it from the list.

Hope this helps.

Too dumb to find the favorites tab....all I get is the list on the upper left hand corner where you choose your favorites and recent folders and the option clear recent folders menu. But in there I can not right click anything....

The "Favorites" tab is right next to the "Folders" tab in the top left panel. It sits directly below the "Back" & "Forwards" arrows, and "Recent Folders & Favorites" drop-down box. The panel usually contains the usual Explorer-like folder tree by default. Here is a screen grab to help you.

It certainly is a pain when the favorits build up too much, but I find it a handy feature for the projects I'm currently working on at the time.

Hope this helps. Good luck
