Mat board / passepartout cut steeper than 45 degrees
« on: December 08, 2017, 04:43:03 am »

I have some art at home where the deep mat board bevel cuts are steeper than 45 degrees, meaning the cut looks thinner from the front and deeper when looked from the sides (not perpendicular to the mat board). This I find attractive on thicker boards, where I like the depth, but don't want the angled cut sides to be too dominant from the front. So I want a steeper cut angle, like 60 degrees, perhaps slightly more.

I have not had any success finding anyone able to do this for me, yet. Any comments on whether this is very hard to come buy, either from a shop or with own tools? Had a look at the Logan 750-1 as a multitool for low volume cutting and bevelling, but that, or more expensive solutions, didn't seem to, sorry, cut it, either - at least regarding this steeper cut angle.
