Same place, different time of day.  Yesterday.

Morning before sunrise.

Afternoon around sunset.  Water was very quiet.

Beautiful work, the morning clouds, especially. The clouds on 33417-1-4 (on Flickr) are also compelling.

Nicely seen and captured.

+1.

It almost makes me want to get up early enough to snap a sunrise.
... Almost!  ;)

Normally I don't like symmetry, but the 2nd is really an exception! Great!

Same lake, this past week.

Both are good, but the first is exceptionally pretty.

Great work...and the stillness of that lake is amazing.

Thanks Jeremy!  This lake is a convenient place to stop by on the way to work which increases the chances of finding good light.

Thank you!  I've been lucky with the wind recently which really adds to the image via the calm waters.

These remind me of a show where a great phoenix was gathering itself up and getting ready for flight. Yes, majestic clouds and water.

I wish my morning commute passed anything a tenth as beautiful.
