A few years ago, night shots with low CRI (high pressure) or monochromatic (low pressure) orange sodium street lights could have been considered ugly and boring. They were everywhere.
Now when white LEDs are rapidly replacing them, we may have last opportunities to shoot some places with such a light! Okay, one could partially mimic such a light with colour temperature slider, but the style will never be exactly the same. (What about spots where such a light is mixed with white light from a window or car headlights?)
The same truth is with clear mercury lamps. Their greenish tint plus low CRI are also very specific.
These historical shots could be valuable one day. What do you think?
