Any remaining issue with High Sierra?
« on: November 22, 2017, 07:27:05 am »

Hi team,

For those left on OSX, have you noticed any issue with typical image processing applications after migrating to High-Sierra?

Thank you.

Cheers,
Bernard

i1Profiler from X-rite has a bug loading the profile it creates just after creation.

Just upgraded the 2010 MBP to High Sierra. everything seems to work except VMWare Fusion 8.5.
You need version 10 but V10 won't run on 2010 machines. 2011 and later only.
Not a real problem for me but may be for some.

High Sierra seems to be one of Apple's wonkiest OS releases. My 2012 MacBook Pro has been having problems with startup, videocard, screen resolution & CUDA ever since upgrading. Tried everything other than erasure & complete clean system reinstall.
My advice: stay away until another few 'updates' if you have an older machine.

I have no issues with 10.13.2 on my 15" mid 2012 Retina MBP.
