Photoshop CC 2018 – A New Update ?
« on: November 14, 2017, 06:50:27 am »

This morning my Adobe Creative Cloud App informs me that it wants to update Photoshop CC 2018.

However, I can find no information about what this update does, if anything.  Clicking on the “What’s New?” link just takes me to information about the last 2018 CC update in October.

Does anyone know anything about an update, or is my App confused ?

It looks like a minor update to solve some bugs. At least they solved the issued with keyboard shortcuts that include the "Alt" key.
In case you did not experienced it, the shortcuts were not working if you pressed the "Alt" key first. (e.g. "Ctrl+Alt+Shift+E" to create a new layer without flattening the file

The spot healing brushes seem to be back to normal; perhaps even faster than PS 2017.

I note that after updating the version number has not incremented from 19.0.  Interesting.

No new functionality, only bugs solved.

You need to check the extended version details in "System info", so the complete version looks like:

Adobe Photoshop Version: 19.0 20171103.r.190 2017/11/03: 1143799  x64
