Sleeving for 17" roll paper
« on: September 14, 2006, 05:22:38 pm »

Hi -
i believe that this might be the correct place to ask this question - i'm looking for some relatively inexpensive clear sleeving for putting my prints in. i mainly use 16" and 17" roll paper with my 4800. i'm not necessary looking for archival keeping qualities, this is simply to deliver prints to customers with.

Thanks!

I'm sure there are various sources but one that comes to mind is Light Impressions.

Here is  a source for clear polypropelyne bags:

[a href=\"http://clearbags.com/?category|BAGS4]http://clearbags.com/?category|BAGS4[/url]

I usually get the longest length for a particular width.

For a new show, I am making prints 17" wide, as long as 5 feet. For these, I am using 6mil poly tubing. You can get it here:

You will need a roll holder for the poly tubing. The 18" wide roll weighs over forty pounds.
