Why the annoying pop up when you enter the site?

As a subscribing member, you will get a pop-up unless you allow cookies to be set. The cookie will identify you as a Subscriber and should allow you to bypass the Subscribe nag.
(Your last successful login was two days ago)

A login and cookie will be required for each browser and machine that you use.
