Plug ins problem in Lightroom Classic
« on: October 24, 2017, 06:28:29 pm »

Hi, all . . .

I didn’t put this in Kevin’s thread on LR, as I think it’s pretty much “just my problem.”

LR Classic doesn’t see my Topaz plug ins.  Even when I delete and reinstall fresh, they show up in Photoshop as normal (in the filters drop down), but still don’t show up in LR’s “Edit In” menus.

I think I need to “move something to somewhere” (LOL laughing at myself for my pitiful level of understanding).  Do the Topaz plug in folders need to be moved (or copied) somewhere so that LR can see them?

Any insight will be appreciated.

As far as I understand (not much), Lightroom doesn't care where you keep plugins, as long as you tell it where to find it (in the Lightroom Plug-In Manager, under Edit)

In Lightroom, you need to run Topaz's plugins from within Fusion Express 2 . Topaz Denoise 6 runs as a stand alone plugin, but Detail, Clarity, InFocus etc need Fusion Express.

Install Fusion Express and all should be well.
Hope it helps.
