Will I be able to install my purchased (perpetual licence) copy of LR 6 onto a new computer that I purchase 3 years from now?

Assuming the operating system will support it, yes.

PCs are probably a better bet for legacy support than Macs though.

Thanks everyone.   Why was a little nervous when it took me 2 hours recently to install a second copy on a second computer.  Someone in India with Adobe help, operated my computer remotely and installed a file which was required for the installation on top of the program file.

Hmm! with original LR6 installer either from DVD or download and bearing in mind all the updates I recall doing were via the Adobe Download Manager....................it makes sense to go to the Adobe download page and get that saved locally for any future re-installations?
