Having in the past used view cameras up to 8x10" and many smaller film and digital cameras, I now almost never use tripods at all (my present cameras are a Sony RX10 iii and a Canon G5X pocket camera.)
Thus I would like to find new homes for my trusty Gitzo carbon fibre G2227 tripod (3-section legs plus center column), used a lot but in excellent condition. There was a detailed review of this tripod by Alain Briot on LuLa in January 2009:

I am also selling my original Arca Swiss B1 ballhead. Ebay currently lists five with asking prices of $195, $299, $258.75, $239.96, and $295, for an average of $257.60.
I have been using an RRS ballhead for several years, so my B1 has not been used for a long time and has gotten quite stiff. I have cleaned it and it works somewhat better, but it might need an overhaul. I understand there is an outfit in Chicago that does this. I am asking
$150 plus shipping.
