Michael,

This is a well-done and up-lifting memorium. In many ways the World is so very troubled, but there also remains much beauty, much to accomplish and much to be hoped for. Photography takes its place at the forefront of communicating the spectrum of the human condition and our environment; your cover page is an eloquent and artistic statement.

Michael,

Your image of "Florida Chairs" struck me as a perfect metaphor for the tragic losses of 9/11. I cannot look at it without feelings of emotion. Thank you for the reminder of the power of a simple photograph to touch and to inspire in times of turmoil.
