Lens Rental Site
« on: September 05, 2006, 08:31:57 pm »

Hello all,

I thought this would be the best category for this posting. I wanted to let you all know (especially the Canon shooters) about a new lens rental site. It's actually my new business so I apologize for the shameless plug. It's called LensProToGo and I hope to be of service to the Canon community. We have some great lenses at very reasonable prices.

All of the prices include shipping to you and back to LensProToGo and all of our lenses are shipped in Pelican cases to ensure safe delivery and return as well as a quality customer experience.

I invite you to try us out some time in the near future. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to post here or email me at info@lensprotogo.com

Thanks!

None of the online site I have seen including yours carry those lenses that I would occassionally wish to rent. Namely high-ends such as 400, 500 & 600 f4. Too bad.

Hi Yoni,

No, I don't yet carry the very long, fast primes that cost thousands of dollars.  I certainly have not ruled out carrying them though.  For right now, we are focusing on the $600 to $2,000 range of lenses, most of which are "L" lenses.

Thank you very much for visiting our site though.  And please let me know if you have any questions.  We're off to a very good start!

Thanks,
Paul

Good luck with the new business.

I'm curious if we Canadians can rent from you?

Thanks - I'm checking into shipping options to Canada right now but truthfully, it doesn't look too promising.  So far what I've found is that it's about twice the cost and it takes longer.  If you have any ideas, I'd be open to them.

Thanks,
Paul
