I seem to be having trouble preventing photos from opening to full size online. I shoot at Large Fine (or 3504x2686 pixels), then go to PS7 to reduce down from roughly 48"Width x 37" Height down to say 4.5" x 3.5". I do this by increasing resolution from the standard 72ppi up to in this case 777 ppi. They look smaller than that online & in addition they open 2-3 x's the size of my 17" monitor when viewing.
If I Resample I lose data, pixels & quality. I'd rather not.
The camera is a Canon 30D, the software is PS7 & the website is run by Google, which may perhaps be part of the problem.
Can anyone explain the standard manner in which one prevents a thumbnail from reconverting back to full image size?
Thanks
