In looking over the specs for the new rebel xti i noticed that the spec for the autofocus is -.5 - 18 EV whereas the 1ds is listed as 0-18 EV and the rebel xt .5-18 ev.
Does this mean that the new xti will be able to achieve autofocus in less light?
More to the point, being a whole stop more sensitive, will the ef 100-400 4.5-5.6 ,1.4x tele-extender combo that currently wont achieve autofocus on my rebel xt achieve it on the new xti like it does on the 1ds?
