Milky Way Over Medicine Bow
« on: August 22, 2017, 09:34:19 PM »

This was taken the night before the eclipse at camp.  The Milky Way was extremely bright and there were many shooting stars throughout the night.  I have more to process but will probably leave those for tomorrow.  I'll post them in this thread when I finish them.

This is a single 25 second image.  Camera used was a Nikon D600 and Samyang 14mm F2.8 lens.

I like it a lot, it's spectacular. The trees seem to point to the Milky Way...
Well done!

Thanks everyone

Here's one more,  same settings and camera, shot a little later than the first.

And it's even better, I think.
