Hello, my home falls within the "Path of Totality" for the Great American Eclipse coming on Aug 21st. I've purchased a specialty filter for capturing an image: "Formatt Hitech 95mm Firecrest Neutral Density 5.4 Solar Eclipse Filter (18-Stops)".
But I'm having second thoughts of risking my Credo 60 to potential damage, and I don't see any advisory's on Mamiya's webpage. The filter is very well made and similar to B+W quality, furthermore the 18-stop reduction presents a mirror like appearance -its not transparent under normal lighting at all.
Has anyone used this combination for previous eclipses or has any helpful information to share?
