I love the soft glow, Terry. The processing evokes a fine mood. I wouldn't change a thing.

I love this, the light cascading down the distant rocks, the warm toning, and overall composition. That being said, the water is much less interesting albeit the soft textures are intriguing. An aesthetic preference might be a 1:2 AR, but that is not really useful to you. Some might also prefer less intense toning, but I like it as presented. I would, however, ask about the lack of detail in the central sky: blown highlights or just not enough detail for jpg and web viewing?

This has been a fantastic series, as seen in this and other posts from Lake Superior.

UPDATE: Agree with Eric re soft glow to the PP; well done!

Thanks Eric and David.

The sky glow is just blank sky, however it's tone is about Zone VII, so no blown highlights. I see what you're saying about the water. Rather than crop to 2:1 (as I would lose where the waves meet the sand), I'll work on bringing up some texture to the water.
