As a fellow Portuguese photographer, I would like to congratulate LuLa for publishing this article. And, of course, congratulations to José for his magnificent photos.

As for the coastline between Milfontes and Sagres, lets keep it a secret, shall we:)

Love your work.  I am interested in your approach to using ND filters.  I didn't understand the notation you used to describe the filters used on each image.  Did you use both a standard ND, and a graduated ND with a soft transition for most shots?

Good evening!

First of all thanks to those who wrote on this topic, it's an enormous honour to have my portfolio featured on Luminous Landscape.

Regarding my shooting technique, I virtually always use a ND Grad filter (unless I'm doing night photography). When I want to create long exposures, I add an extra full ND filter to achieve this.
