In Camera Raw preferences I save the adjusted image settings in sidecar .xmp files.
For an unknown reason I have lost those settings in some raw files (I can't identify a pattern to which/where) and those images have reverted to the original raw 'out of camera' capture.
They can, of course, be re-processed but that entails a heck of a lot of work.
Any idea what might cause this xmp loss/disconnection so I can prevent it from happening again.
