B&W vs Color
« on: July 22, 2017, 02:46:52 pm »

Hello All and especially those who look beyond dualities.
Unforetunately this article ignores the fact that the objective/subjective dichotomy is a mine played out long ago. It's possible, tho examples are all too rare, to make realistic fotos that are expressive ,too.
Sebastiao Salgado is my favorite example. His work showing the intricacies of an open pit gold mine and the tattered weary miners is one example.
Maybe if we look beyond "either/or" we can create something informative and powerful, too.
At least for myself, that's what I hope.
