Alaskan Summer
« on: July 21, 2017, 04:41:17 pm »

Well it's well over 100 here in OKC so it's a good time to remember the Alaskan summer.

  • The Nenana River near Healy in the area of Denali NP. If you haven't seen Denali, you really should go. There is no place like it.
  • Upper Trail lake near Moose Pass on the Kenai Peninsula. This was the view from our cabin for several days.
  • Exit Glacier near Seward - Kenai Fjords NP.
  • And a nice double rainbow seen on the Kenai Peninsula.

I love the double rainbow and the effect it has of partitioning the image into three sections not just physically but also in terms of apparent exposure and colour.  Very effective.
