Adobe Photoshop contains unknown data
« on: July 19, 2017, 12:45:20 pm »

Hi,
A month ago I have created a psd file with the help of Photoshop. It could open it well at the beginning, but now I am struggling with error message: This document contains unknown data which will be discarded to keep layers editable.
Do you have any suggestions how to work around it and how to fix psd file?

Any hints would be appreciated.

Are you opening it in an older version of PS than the one used to create the file?

Uninstall Photoshop, as well as any previous CS version to prevent interference with your current version. Adobe offers a tool to completely remove all CS files from your computer . After you've uninstalled these, reinstall  Photoshop and apply any program updates. If it useless try you may refer to the following articles on how to fix your problem: https://www.fixtoolbox.com/photoshopfix.html

This application can restore the data from all versions of Adobe Photoshop.

Good luck
