Tim,
Problem is that when doing the initial reductions for him to put on a thumb drive we did not set any Metadata. Just highlight an image(or more) showing on the page in Bridge/ Then in the bar above in TOOLS - scrolled down to Phtoshop and chose IMAGE PROCESSOR. This open Photoshop with the IMAGE PROCESSOR window showing. Put in the Open first image to apply settings. Then in #2 Select location to save processed images. Then #3 File Type and Resize to fit. Then #4 PREFERENCES I entered his copyright - symboo, date and name. Then hit RUN and the program takes care of the re-sizing so we can email the smaller images.
I CAN NOT get his copyright off of that page.
I have made a new metata template now but when I look at the small Jpegs it still has his copyright information on it.
In BRIDGE I can replace metadata all day long and it shows what I did when I check the image. When I use the TOOLS and IMAGE PROCESSOR it does not allow me to change my friends name.
Am at a loss with this one.
I remember having some seemingly odd issues with this not being able to change copyright. Probably user error on my part but I did find a workaround that enable changes - perhaps give this a try
From Bridge Select Image or Images
Go to Tools > Photoshop > Image Processor
Untick Open first image to apply settings
Select folder location
Select Save as JPEG, size etc
Preferences change Copyright info as required.
If for some reason you cannot change then you can copy and paste the information from another document or use a template that you created previously with the Save dialogue in Image processor
Hit Run button
Images should open and close in PS and your copyright data should be changed as required
