Is there a Pro Show Gold substitute for Mac
« on: August 21, 2006, 02:59:41 pm »

Hi All,

I have scoured the internet for a mac program like Pro Show Gold. I cannot believe that such a thing does not exist. The important thing is to be able to place the image filename and copyright information on the images WHERE I WANT THEM, add music etc etc.

iDVD 6 gets you halfway there, but can't always extract the filename, nor gives you the option of placing it where you wish. It also seems that you can't apply the same copyright info across all of the slides, you literally have to type it in one by one.

I have tried Fotomagico, but that doesn't seem to give the option of placing the filename on the image either.

What I want is Pro Show Gold for the mac. It doesn't exist yet, is there anything else out there someone can point me to or is there something am I missing something with the applications above?

This issue is driving me nuts

Simple.... either install Bootcamp or Parallels and run WinXP... you'll have the best of both worlds.

Never again will you have to search for that replacement winapp that you use occasionally.
