Creating an illumination reference file from Spectrashop
« on: June 05, 2017, 11:59:51 am »

Hi,

Apologies in advance as I'm guessing it's really easy to do but I just haven't understood how to do it!

Up until now I've been using general illuminant names (D50 /D75/F3/F7) when defining lighting for profiling software etc.
However I'm trying to make a custom illuminant based on measurements using Spectrashop 5 to create a reference file of Spectral (380-730nm), & Lab data .

I'm trying to export something like this :
IS12642
~
WHITE_REFERENCE  "607.611633 558.132263 188.268234"
KEYWORD     "R_380"
~
KEYWORD     "R_730"
NUMBER_OF_FIELDS (39)
NUMBER_OF_SETS   1
BEGIN_DATA_FORMAT
LAB_L LAB_A LAB_B R_380 R_390 R_400 R_410 R_420 R_430 R_440 R_450 R_460 R_470 R_480 R_490 R_500 R_510 R_520 R_530 R_540 R_550 R_560 R_570 R_580 R_590 R_600 R_610 R_620 R_630 R_640 R_650 R_660 R_670 R_680 R_690 R_700 R_710 R_720 R_730
END_DATA_FORMAT

I'm presuming that this is a CGATS type format of file, but upon exporting I'm told that I can only save transmissive and reflective data. I have tried other options but with no luck - I was imagining that it'd be pretty straightforward.

Thanks

Alex
