NEC PA272W-BK-SV – still the best value under $1500.00?
« on: May 29, 2017, 10:18:52 pm »

Hello… I am looking at purchasing the NEC PA272W-BK-SV 27”. I have been searching and reading similar topics, but realized it has been quite a while since an update. Are there any other displays under 2k, substantially better I should consider? I don’t need more real estate, the PA272W and resolution is perfect. I am mostly concerned with being able to do pre-press work with confidence. Thanks in advance, appreciate any thoughts / guidance.
With my best,
Sean.

I think that the "best value" might be the BenQ SW2700PT.  $600 US including calibration software (not puck) and a hood.  But there are reports of non uniformity in various parts of the screen in some samples.  It has been reviewed here on LULA and here is another one.........   http://www.color-management-guide.com/benq-sw2700pt-monitor-review.html
