Capture One noob question
« on: May 25, 2017, 05:23:06 pm »

Hi

I'm making the switch from LR to C1 and while I like it a lot, I find Capture One kind of cumbersome to use.

I'm sure a lot will come with practice, but one thing I have not yet found is a fast way to turn an effect on or off, or to quickly toggle an adjustment so I can compare before and after on the fly.

Is there something obvious that I've missed?  Am I just stuck with cmd-Z?

Thanks!

Welcome to the world of C1!

Hold option and click and hold the reset button in the top right of the tool (looks like an arrow heading back onto itself). Don't forget to hold option the whole time or the adjustment will simply reset rather than toggle.

After you've done the very good online webinars on youtube I'd suggest some formal capture one training classes. They will take the learning curve down quite a bit.
