Crop & Straighten Tool
« on: May 23, 2017, 07:09:53 am »

Hi,  Does anyone now how to unlock the 'padlock' so it doesn't revert to its locked position?  Its been driving me nuts when going to crop a shot only to find the aspect ration is formed by LR at its discretion.  I want to go straight to the crop tool and crop as I want to.

Help is appreciated!

It's designed to be "sticky". Start with any image and then activate the crop tool. Before you do anything, unlock the padlock, then apply the crop. From now  on, the crop tool should start with the padlock off.

Good. You'll find that other tools like local adjustments work in the same way.
