pb with my curtain

Hello there,
I have a big problem with my phase one 645DF, one part of the curtain is broken.
So I wanted to know if it worths to fix it or better to buy another body, as there is no seller around my place ?

At least contact a dealer for a quote.

Phase One now handles DF repairs.

US dealers to consider Capture Integration or Digital Transitions.

Hey Eikkon,

I think you're in France, so our normal vendors would refer you to someone local.  Given it's a DF, I would recommend looking for a used DF+ body instead of paying for a repair.  What back are you using with it?  If it's an IQ series, the XF would be worth a test drive for you - it's so much better.

Hello,
I sent an email to my local reseller in France.
But for now no answer.

I would love to have the XF, unfortunately my back is p45+, and not compatible with it.

I'm already looking for a DF+ but as I bought also a 110mm LS my budget is not that much extensible :(

You might call them. Such inquiries should be answered by a Phase One dealer within hours (or at least within a day), so the lack of reply may indicate a spam filter issue or similar.

This is a standard repair in the price book. They should be able to answer quickly and easily.

Sorry to hear about your shutter! The XF shutter is now warrantied for infinite captures when purchased as part of an IQ3 kit and comes with an overnight loaner in the case of any repair. I understand that's not in the budget today; just thought you'd want to know for the future.

Indeed nice to know that it's warrantied.

If I decide to move as a professional photographer, for sure i will have it (or maybe to win at lotery :-) )
