Levels/Curves problem with Photoshop CC 2017
« on: May 21, 2017, 07:41:06 am »

Hi,

I'd appreciate it if anybody can suggest a remedy to this:

I have the latest version of Photoshop CC 2017.1.1 installed.   When I add a Layers or Curves layer, the panel does not show the histogram, without manual refresh (i.e click on the warning triangle).  When I try to set a neutral point using the colour picker in either tool, the "selected" colour goes to pure white, regardless of where I click, and nothing happens.    The main histogram also does not refresh.

I'm using a Mac Pro 2013 with 32Gb RAM.  I have NIK collection, PixelGenius Sharperner and Exposure X2 plug-ins, nothing else. Everything else is working fine.  As far as I know, this only started with the latest update. I have an older version of CC on my MacBook Air and it works fine.

Baffled.....

Thanks
David
