Red Labels in LR 5 gone..poof!
« on: May 13, 2017, 02:53:39 pm »

I noticed last night that all but a few of my Red labels had disappeared..
Went to sort some stuff and only a few left..from 4 or 5 hundred..very disheartening.

I haven't upgraded anything..all systems the same etc, grr, infuriating.

Im in Lightroom 5 on Mac in Mavericks.

Wondering if anyone has experienced this and solved it without going back through and re-editing/looking at thousands of images..

 :(

Do you backup your catalog and run integrity checks frequently?

Did you rename the label by chance?

Metadata > Color Label Set ? Have you changed this?

Generally:

If the Label has turned white instead of the expected color, it means you have used a text in the Label field that doesn't match your current Color Label Set's text for your expected color.

If no Color Label remains, it means you have cleared the Label field in the Metadata Panel.
