Hi Russ,

 A great read...I thank you for sharing your link to your article. In art you often can't calculate the outcome. In Painting, a brush stroke ill placed makes all the difference. Of which, I know all too well.

Fine essay, Russ. Thanks for sharing it.
I think you have elucidated quite clearly an essential distinction in photography and art.
