While the USB route would be more stable, I'm not sure that WiFi is the issue here. Once the file is spooled to the printer, it resides in printer memory, gets printed from there and the WiFi connection ceases to be important. I am inclined to surmise that only if WiFi failed during that very short spooling transfer would it be the culprit. Nonetheless, just for surety I think Ron's suggestion is a good one. It's no big deal to remove and reinstall a printer driver.
