C1 and wireless capture
« on: April 28, 2017, 02:20:34 pm »

I rarely shoot tethered, and half the time, I end up using Canon EOS Utility and DPP since it seems to crash less frequently. That said, I've recently shot with a Canon 5D Mark IV with built-in wireless and bought the Canon W-E1 SD/wifi card for my 5Ds. Those work fairly easily and seamlessly with the Canon software, but I'm curious. Does C1 support this, or only wired tether? In a way, it's a bit of a moot point since I'd never shoot fashion wirelessly -- too slow. But, I occasionally do fashion accessory still-life, so thought it might work with that. Pity, also, that C1 never embraced the 1Dx Ethernet option. If I tether with my 1Dx, it's the only way I shoot.

No wireless, no Ethernet. Tether only through USB or Firewire.
