I've just looked at Victoria Piersig's piece of work as a Michael Reichmann Endowment Award winner and found her work fascinating. It clearly exposed not only the difficulties she encountered but also her commitment and ingenuity to get such a difficult project concluded. What she brings most eminently to the fore is that photographs in many cases are meaningless [notwithstanding the conditions she experienced] without a cogent and socially embedded backstory - which is already probably a chapter of a book - and for this I congratulate her as having not only demonstrated that she was most worthy of such a grant but also that LuLa had the vision to grant her the opportunity to complete and share this with us
Thank You Both

It is with great pleasure that we can bring you the results of projects made by grant winners.  The last granting process had so many good applications.  We wish we could do more.  The Luminous-Endowment is a non-profit organization and like all non-profits, we can only continue doing what we are doing with the kindness of those that donate to the cause.  Please, if you know someone or if you are interested in being a part of what we are doing please get in touch with Chris or me.  You can always donate to the Endowment and receive Michael Reichmann's Retrospective book.  We still are offering 2 books for a donation if you are interested.  A book for you and one as a gift or for the office.  Please help out if you can.  Thanks.
