It's been said before but Iceland is just spectacular.   And, not only it's landscape but the society as well.

Agreed on "the society". We visited many a rec centre to enjoy the hot pools while the snow fell around us. I like the fact that you remove your shoes at the door and pad around in stocking feet. And, given the showering situation, no one cares a hoot about body shape or size.

And all the coffee shops are bottomless (cups, that is!)
