I just read a report at (German site) MacLife that Apple will discontinue their desktop computers: iMac, Mac Mini and Mac Pro. They will concentrate on MacBooks and iPads. It seems that sales of desktop computers have declined to such a degree that they no longer seem lucrative products for Apple. I find that sad, but guess that's the future. Mainly smaller and more portable devices. Tim Cook had mentioned some years ago that the desktop computers was dead. For those speaking German, here's the link: http://www.maclife.de/news/apple-stellt-desktop-rechner-10090518.html
4. A cat's life was saved with a vodka shot. Vets had to give seven-year-old cat Princess a "vodka drip" to save her from being poisoned by brake fluid. Princess needed 24-hour intensive care and was treated with vodka which worked as an antidote to the poison.
10. For a five star hotel stay with a difference, thrill seekers in the Netherlands can now spend the night in a crane. The Crane Hotel Faralda offers three suites - which are up to 50m above the ground - and a hot tub on the top deck.
... I was truly saddened be the news.
For April Fools' Day, the Russian Foreign Ministry put out an "official joke" - a video of a proposed voice-mail message for its embassy answering machines. In the clip, recorded in Russian and English, an automated recording tells callers to press 1 for "a call from a Russian diplomat to your political opponent." You can press 2 "to use the services of Russian hackers," or 3 "to request election interference."
Just another case of "fake" news or perhaps as the White House prefers, "alternate facts".
It's April fools day every day at the White House now. lol
We all live in an alternate reality provided to us by the government and the media. Sad thing is it's been this way for many years...
