Really?!? They are excellent photographs and make a wonderful collection, but!"best trees I've ever seen"? "...new, fresh, thoughtful..."? I've definitely missed the boat here.

😀

New = Something not seen before (here, at least).

Fresh = Not the same iconography that is usually seen, i.e., a fresh point of view.

Thoughtful = The compositions are very thoughtful and reflect some "time thinking about the most impactful way to present trees in their watery habitat."

I've seen lots of "swamp tree photos," all of which are a tangle of some sort.  I thought the isolation of the subject was new, fresh and thoughtful.  Add to that the beautiful light and thechnical excellence and I was very impressed with the set.

One mans considered opinion.
