Hasselblad X1/X5 FlexColor - Film Negative Profiles
« on: March 30, 2017, 11:23:14 am »

Hi There,

Im still shooting Analog and got an used Hasselblad X1 Scanner. My Question is: FlexColor has a lot of Filmprofiles preinstalled. But not that one I need. Like an Kodak Ektar 100 or an Kodak Portra 800. Also All Fuji Pro Films are missing.
Does anyone has an Idea where to get them? or maybe some has some and would share them with me.

Thank You very much

Best regards
Sebastian

I haven't used felxcolor in months, but if I remember correctly, the entire list is inside custom profile.

I may be stating the obvious, but have you checked with Hasselblad support?

Cheers,

Film Negative Profiles  from Flexcolor are more or less useless.
Just make auto corecction with standart RBG- take care not to include the edges, only film with film-information becouse the auto correction will be also useless. That in my opinon the only one way to get fast and good negatives with Flextigh scanners without using other software like color perfect or photoshop.

Exactly what RomanN said.

You can play with the input color profiles in setup to get different results. But I tend to prefer the Flextight Input one which Standard RGB has set as default.
