I have never seen the show... But, since I'm living in Barcelona, I was curious for the reference...

It's a recurring sentence. Fawlty Towers was one of TV's great series. There were only 12 episodes, although there seem in recollection to have been far more. It's embedded itself into popular culture here: any bad, grumpy hotelier will find himself called Basil at some point.

That's it!
Fawlty Towers is my all-time favorite TV series. I even bought the entire series on VHS tapes. Now, of course, I don't even have a working VHS player any more.   :'(

Easily available on DVD, Eric: https://www.amazon.com/Fawlty-Towers-Complete-Collection-Remastered/dp/B002LFPAUC/ref=sr_1_1?s=movies-tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1489344218&sr=1-1&keywords=fawlty+towers. And worth every penny cent.

I've been sorely tempted. But I expect that as soon as I buy the DVDs, then DVDs will become obsolete, just like VHS and floppy disks (I still have one 8" floppy disk somewhere.)

Eric

P.S. I still like the ZIon Crags photo (just to get back on topic).   ;)

Curiously, even as I have a collection of DVDs here at home, I realized the other day, as I was putting in a box an old Mac Mini that I had connected to my TV... That I have no DVD player, nor in my computers... Nor in my TV... Yes, I know that I could buy one for less that 50€... But I think I will check if Netflix or Amazon Prime have the series first...

*sigh* it's ok. I am glad folks are having fun. It's hard to shoot things that are different. Or interesting to others.

When typos are more interesting than one's photograph...  But, hey, you've started the typos war...and you keep provoking it:  :)

Instead, Eric, how about a few typos from Zion? Everybody loves typos.

Good idea, Russ.
Some folks on LuLa seem to relate better to typos than they do to content in photographs.
And some use typos without ever realizing they are doing so, the most common one being "loose" when "lose" is clearly intended.
Typo-peeping is much more fun than pixel-peeping!
