Mailwasher for Mac or something similar?
« on: March 09, 2017, 05:48:57 am »

Hi folks, I have used an a app called Mailwasher  for many years on my PC and via parallels on my Macbook Pro. Apparently Mailwasher does not make a Mac version. What Mailwasher does for those who do not know is read the server and allow you to filter & delete unwanted emails before you down load them with some degree of automation. It is a very handy program for me and I would like to free my Macbook of Parallels if there is something comparable out there. I have looked some, but did not find anything that looked close. I admit I may have missed something or did not look in the right place.

Any Ideas

Thanks,
Warren

I use Sanebox.  It's a subscription service but worth every penny.  I used it on 5 different accounts.  It works great.  I also use Apple's email program but with extensions for Mail Butler and that works great too.  I get a ton of emails and these two systems help tremendously.

I don't know if it is what you are looking for but SpamSieve works well for me.

I get the same features using Google Gmail and nothing has to be downloaded.  Their spam filters are the very best.
