Epson p600/p800 firmware updates

I just did a firmware update for my Surecolor P600.  Does anyone know where you can find out what these updates actually do?  I haven't found anything on line yet.  No harm was done in the process, but it would be nice to know.  Of course, This isn't unusual in technology these days.

You are correct to raise this issue. It would be helpful and responsible for customers to understand what the updates do and determine whether they need them or not. Sometimes it is prudent to leave well enough alone, but one only knows for sure with the appropriate information.
