Another from Killarney National Park
« on: February 13, 2017, 02:59:53 am »

I had another wander around Killarney National Park at the weekend.
It was more of a trip with management then a photo expedition (but that didnt stop me lugging 28lbs of camera crap on back everywhere I went)
While walking on a trail we'd never came across before, I spotted this bend in the river in a small valley. From my vantage point, it looked like I had a small wooded bogie area to get past and then it was a nice easy stroll through some grass to get to large rock to give me some hight for the picture I envisioned.
Oh how wrong I was.....
The small wooded bit was a breeze, the grass, not so much.
Im 6'2 and it was as tall as I was in parts and at best, I was up to my knees in it. After 20mins of slogging, I had to give in, turn back and reassess my route.

No matter how many times I return to Killarney, I always find something new.
